What would you change about East Lothian? I’d have more choices available in cafes. We love going to cafes as a family at the weekends but it would be great to have more choice beyond the traditional offerings. 3.Where is your favourite place in East Lothian to escape to? I'd say Tyninghame beach for a "blow away the cobwebs" walk. 4. Where is the best place to eat in East Lothian? I am a regular at the Nether Abbey in North Berwick - good local produce on the menu and very kid friendly 5. What is your earliest memory of East Lothian? Coming to Gullane on a school trip from Edinburgh 6. Who are East Lothian’s heroes? John Muir 7. What annoys you most? Petty mindedness. Don't sweat the small stuff - be thankful for what you've got - life is too short! 8. What puts a smile on your face? The antics of the kids generally but also the feeling of having gone for a good wind-swept run - the feeling afterwards is fab (if not during!). 9. What are you most proud of? My kids - got four of them so lots to be proud of with each. My two step children are teenagers so they are becoming hilariously adult already whilst the 5 yr old is busy acting like a teenager! The baby keeps us all laughing. 10. Use one word to describe East Lothian? Inspiring |
