Jade Sheerin

My dad decorated a lady’s house. She’s called Jackie. She’s blind and had two dogs. She has a black Lab called Cassie, who’s a guide-dog, and a little dog called Penny, who thinks she’s a guide dog.

Jackie wondered if me and my brother Ryan, who’s 15, could walk her dogs for her. We walk them to Winterfield for her. We do this every second day to make sure that they get exercise.

Jackie now has a new dog called Ollie, who just came recently, when Cassie retired. Cassie has stayed with Jackie, so now we have three dogs to walk. Ryan takes the big dogs, Cassie and Ollie, and I take Penny.

The local paper did a story on us and now it’s up on the school notice-board.
