The flight display so far includes the complex vertical aerobatics and gyroscopic manoeuvres of the Aerostar display team, breathtaking displays by the fearless Breitling Wing Walkers , the world’s only formation wing-walking team and the speed and attention-grabbing colour-scheme of a Hunter jet.

Other acts include the massive RAF Dakota, Starduster and Tiger Moth biplanes, a Hawk Jet and the Pitts Special high performance aerobatic aircraft. A Vampire jet-engine fighter, Tutor training aircraft and the elegant gliding displays of the Swift Aerobatic team will also feature.

A Supermarine Spitfire will take to the air, evoking memories of the Battle of Britain 70 years ago in which the aircraft played such an important role.
