In 1566, David Rizzio, the secretary of Mary, Queen of Scots, was brutally murdered in front of the Queen in Holyrood Palace.

We return to meet two of the principal perpetrators of the deed, the Earl of Morton and Lord Ruthven. Discover why they felt Rizzio was a threat and witness their discussions and plans as they prepare to carry out the treasonous deed.

In addition, come along and find out about 16th century fashion, make-up and grooming and visit the military encampment to enjoy live weaponry and combat demonstrations.
